Meeting of 69th Session of Parliamentary Assembly of Union State of Belarus and Russia Held in Moscow

A session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation — its 69th session — was held in Moscow under the joint leadership of Chair of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin and Chair of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeyenko.
Speakers emphasized importance of further strengthening integration between the two states.
During the session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union approved the activity plan for 2026. Priority areas include work on international platforms — in particular within the frameworks of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly and the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
Also a number of documents and personnel decisions were approved. The approved plan reflects the work of 17 committees and foresees holding sessions, parliamentary hearings and seminars on issues related to building the Union State.
