Meeting of CIS Advisory Board on Labor, Employment and Social Security to be held in Uzbekistan

A meeting on the preparation and holding of the 38^th meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Labor, Employment and Social Security, which will be held on 30–31 October 2025 in the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held in Minsk.

The event was attended by representatives of the relevant ministries of labor of the Commonwealth countries, the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, the General Confederation of Trade Unions, the Coordinating Council of the International Union “Commonwealth of Public Organizations of Veterans (Pensioners) of Independent States, and the Base Oganizations of the CIS countries in the field of labor standards.

The Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS was represented at the event by Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova and the Assembly’s representative in the CIS Executive Committee Igor Borovko.

Evgenia Vladimirova spoke about the Assembly’s activities on the formation of a model legislative basis in the social and labor sphere and preparation of a draft Perspective Plan for Model Law-making in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2026-2028.

At the Assembly’s suggestion, this issue will be included in the agenda of the meeting of the Advisory Board.
