Media Accreditation for International Tourism Forum “Travel Hub “Commonwealth” Opened
23 March 2026

The event will take place in Minsk from 7 to 9 April 2026 as part of the “Great Tourism Week.” For the first time, the forum programme will be integrated with the business agenda of the Fourth Belarusian-Russian Tourism Congress.
The forum is organized by the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the CIS.
Participants will include MPs, heads of relevant agencies and ministries, tourism industry experts, representatives of memorial complexes, international organizations, and the business community.
The forum will open with a round table “Patriotic Tourism and Cooperation of CIS Member Nations in Preservation Memory and Education of Future Generations,” to be held at the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. The organizational partner of the session is the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation.
Participants will discuss the creation of a unified patriotic route across CIS countries, the use of digital technologies (including augmented reality at battlefields), training of qualified guides, and cooperation among memorial institutions of the Commonwealth.
The goal of the event is to establish an interstate expert and practical foundation for the development of patriotic tourism as a tool for preserving historical truth and educating young people in CIS Member Nations based on shared historical heritage.
A separate round table will focus on agritourism, including its role in developing rural areas of CIS Member Nations, the creation of integrated tourism products, service and safety requirements, and financial support instruments for agritourism projects. The session will be held in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In partnership with “Roszapovedcenter” of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation and the Republican Union of the Tourism Industry, a round table “Innovative Technologies in Ecotourism: Global Experience for Sustainable Development” will be held, focusing on the development of active and ecological tourism in the CIS. Participants will discuss best international practices, technological solutions for managing tourist flows, new tools in environmental education, and ensuring the preservation of natural complexes.
Traditionally, the Travel Hub “Commonwealth” platform will also address legislative initiatives and ways to create a unified legal framework in the tourism sector across the CIS.
