Session of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation

On 6 November 2023, a session of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation will take place in Bishkek.

The elections of the Deputy Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation will be held at this Session. Information on the CIS participation in the patriotic, cultural and educational project “Memory Train” will be heard by participants.

The Draft Regulation on the Status of Observer to the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be reviewed at the session.

Members of the Commission will consult on the honouring in the Parliament of Canada of a member of a Nazi military unit and the growing policy of denying the heroic victory of the Soviet people over fascism. They will also discuss the measures that can be taken to prevent the spread of the Neo-fascism ideas.
