From State Regulation to Risk Insurance: Mechanism of Model Law on Ecotourism

On 21 October, the IPA CIS headquarters in St. Petersburg will host a seminar dedicated to the development of recommendations on the use of the CIS Model Law on Ecotourism. The event will present an expert economic assessment of CIS ecotourism services market and the experience of successful development of national ecotourism clusters.

MPs, representatives of relevant ministries and international organizations, scientists and professionals of the tourism market will analyze the implementation of the provisions of the Model Law on Ecotourism, adopted by the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly in the national legislations. It is expected to discuss the state regulation of ecotourism in the current geopolitical situation, issues of logistics and professional training in organizations involved in this area, as well as the insurance of environmental risks in ecotours.
