Deputy Secretary General of IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev and Representatives of Kyrgyz Diaspora in St. Petersburg Took Part in Volunteer Cleanup

On 7 November 2020, the volunteer cleanup took place on the territory of the Chingiz Aitmatov Public Garden in St. Petersburg. The event was attended by Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev, staff members of the chancellery of the Kyrgyz Embassy, representatives of public associations, members of the Kyrgyz Union youth organization, as well as activists of the Kyrgyz diaspora in St. Petersburg.

The square in the Kalinisky district of St. Petersburg was named after Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov in 2013. During the cleanup, the Kyrgyz people cleared the park and the alley of garbage and collected the leaves. Nurbek Satvaldiev noted that it has become a good tradition to gather with activists of the Kyrgyz diaspora and put the square in order.
