Dmitriy Kobitskiy Outlined Legislative Work of IPA CIS in Field of Informatization and Communications

A joint meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations and the CIS Coordination Council on Informatization took place in Samarkand. Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy spoke at the event and noted the great importance of information and communication technologies for scientific, technical, social and economic development. The Secretary General emphasized the long-standing cooperation of the IPA CIS and the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, which, according to him, contributes to the creation of conditions for the harmonization of national legislations. Dmitriy Kobitskiy expressed confidence in the development of fruitful cooperation between the IPA CIS and the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications and wished fruitful work at today’s joint meeting.
The participants of the joint meeting were also welcomed by Chair of the Council of Heads of the Communications Administrations and the CIS Coordination Council on Informatization under the RCC, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russian Federation Maksut Shadayev, Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, Deputy Chair of the CIS Executive Committee Ilkhom Nematov, Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Houlin Zhao and Director General of the Universal Postal Union Marjan Oswald.
