Belarusian MPs Ratified Several International Agreements

On 31 May 2022, during a meeting of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the MPs considered and approved four draft laws on ratification of international agreements.

In particular, the MPs ratified the Agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on the Harmonization of the Customs Legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and Cooperation in the Field of Customs. In addition, the draft Law on Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Free (Special) Economic Zones in the Customs Territory of the Customs Union and the Customs Procedure of the Free Customs Zone of 18 June 2010 was adopted. Further, the MPs ratified the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Uniform Principles and Rules Governing Market Circulation of Medical Devices (Medical Devices and Medical Equipment) within the Eurasian Economic Union of 23 December 2014. At the end of the meeting, the MPs approved the draft Law on Ratification of the Agreement on the Procedure for Exchanging Information Included in Credit Histories within the Framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
