Commonwealth Celebrates 1 May

May 1 is celebrated in most of the IPA CIS Member Nations. In the Republic of Armenia May 1 is Labor Day, in the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic it is Labor Day. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, this day is celebrated as the Day of the Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine - the Day of International Solidarity of Workers. In the Russian Federation, May 1 is the Holiday of Spring and Labor. In the Republic of Tajikistan, the International Day of Solidarity of Workers.
