Kazakhstani Senators Ratified Agreement on Humanitarian Demining Assistant in CIS

On 7 October 2021, the meeting of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by Maulen Ashimbayev, took place. During the meeting, the MPs ratified agreements on the activities of the armed forces of the CIS Member Nations.
In particular, the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Joint Engineering Unit for Humanitarian Demining of the Armed Forces of the CIS Member Nations was considered and adopted. The document defines the procedure for the formation, application and completion of the activities of the Joint Unit, which will be engaged in minefields technical survey and demining.
According to the press service of the chamber, the senators also adopted the Law on the Ratification of the Agreement on the Joint Communication System of the Armed Forces of the CIS Member Nations.
