Parliament of Republic of Moldova Adopted a Law Banning Capital Construction in Green Areas

Members of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova voted in favor of a ban on the construction of capital facilities in green areas of urban and rural settlements. The corresponding law was adopted in the final reading today.

The document is aimed at combating corruption and protectionism. Local administrations will only be able to issue permits for the placement of objects and amenities consistent with green spaces, namely those intended for sports, games and recreation, or cultural, artistic and mobile commercial objects.
