Parliament of Republic of Moldova Held First Plenary Sitting of Spring Session

On 4 February 2021, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova assembled for the first plenary sitting of the spring session. Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Zinaida Greceanii noted that it took place on International Election Day.
According to the press service of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the sessions will be held from 4 to 12 February and will consider 40 issues, including the draft Law on the Investigation of Traffic Accidents, draft Law on Physical Culture and Sports, as well as the draft Law on the Production, Sale and Use of Planting Material. In addition, the MPs plan to discuss amendments to the Law on the Regional Development of the Republic of Moldova, to the Law on the Real Property Cadastre, the Law on the General Inspectorate of the Carabinieri, the Law on the Activities of the Police and the Status of the Policeman, etc.
During today’s meeting, the MPs approved in the final reading the draft Law on granting resort status to several settlements of the Republic of Moldova.
