Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan Adopts Legislative Measures to Modernize Judicial System

The meeting of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place on 11 March 2021. The meeting was devoted to the issues of improving the country’s judicial system and strengthening public confidence in the courts. The amendments and additions to the Law on Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Code of Administrative Offenses and other legislative acts initiated by parliamentarians aim to modernize this area.
According to the press service of the Parliament, these documents provide for the possibility of involving qualified and skilled specialists to the Supreme Court work without appropriate experience in the judicial system.
