Uzbekistan MPs Considered Draft Law Aimed at Reducing Bureaucratic Barriers

On 8 September 2020, during the regular meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the MPs discussed in the second reading a draft law developed to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Measures to Further Reduce Bureaucratic Barriers and the Introduction of Modern Management Principles in the Activities of State Bodies and Organizations.
The draft law introduces amendments and additions to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Water and Water Use, on the Protection of Atmospheric Air, on Employment of the Population, on Guardianship and Curatorship, on the Protection and Use of Flora, on the Forest, as well as the Administrative Liability Code and Labor Code.
The draft law was adopted in the second reading following active discussions.
