Concept of Kazakhstan’ Chairmanship in CIS in 2022 Presented at Meeting of Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives

On 15 February 2022, the CIS Executive Committee hosted a regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and other Bodies of the Commonwealth. The event took place in Minsk (Republic of Belarus). 

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Syzdykov presented the Concept of the Chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2022 and the Action Plan for its implementation. In addition, according to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the permanent plenipotentiary representatives finally agreed on the agenda of the meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers, which will be held on 8 April in Dushanbe (Republic of Tajikistan), and also discussed proposals for the draft agenda of the meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government to take place in May.
