First CIS Games to Be Held in September 2021 in Kazan

The CIS Advisory Board on Physical Culture and Sport, one of the parties of the CIS Cooperation Agreement on Physical Culture and Sport had set the time and venue for the First CIS Games – from 4 to 11 September 2021 in Kazan.

On 26 November 2020, the meeting of the CIS Advisory Board was held via videoconferencing. Representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and CIS sports departments attended the meeting.

During the event, the participants discussed topical issues in the field of sports cooperation and features of the organization of the educational process in the field of physical culture and sport in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, during the meeting, the Advisory Board members elected Plenipotentiary Representative of the Russian Federation in the Advisory Board, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Ksenia Mashkova as the Chair of the Advisory Board for the next year.
