Minsk Hosted First Meeting of Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of CIS Member Nations in 2022

On 18 January 2022, the first meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth took place via videoconferencing in Minsk. The meeting was chaired by the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The meeting discussed the draft agenda of the next meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers to be held on 8 April 2022 in Dushanbe. The meeting participants decided to finalize the draft agenda at the next meeting of the Council. In addition, according to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives approved the Work Plan of the Council for 2022.
