CIS Parliamentarians Hold Off-Site Meeting in Lomonosov

On 23 October, members of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Practices of State-Building and Local Government continued their work in the city of Lomonosov, where the practical session of the seminar “Local Self-Government (Governance) Practices in the CIS Member States” took place.
The meeting was opened by Chair of the Commission and Chair of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on State Building, Local Government and Regulations Valentin Semenyako.
Participants included First Deputy Chair of the St Petersburg Committee for Territorial Development Elena Kudryavtseva, Deputy Head of the Administration of St Petersburg’s Petrodvortsovy District Ekaterina Salnikova, member of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Mikhail Baryshnikov and Head of the Municipality of the "City of Lomonosov" Natalia Afanasyeva.
Head of the Local Administration of the Intra-City Municipality of the Federal City of St Petersburg “City of Lomonosov” Evgeny Zubkov also spoke at the seminar. He answered questions about the municipality’s work.
