Economic Cooperation CIS Countries Discussed Minsk

A joint meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of CIS Member Nations to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth and the Commission on Economic Issues under the CIS Economic Council was held in Minsk.

Participants reviewed the implementation of the Roadmap for cooperation initiatives among CIS Member Nations and the results of the activity of sectoral cooperation bodies in the economic sphere in 2025. They also considered the implementation results of the 2023–2025 Action Plan on the Memorandum of Deepening Cooperation between the CIS Executive Committee and the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The draft agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the CIS, scheduled for late May in Ashgabat, was discussed and approved. Other topics included preparations for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth to be held on 17 April in Moscow, as well as the activities of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member Nations in 2020–2025.

Representative of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS to the CIS Executive Committee Viktor Kogut took part in the meeting.
