IPA CIS Aims to Develop Cooperation with Yeltsin Presidential Library

Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library provided a venue for the meeting of Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and Director General of the Library Yuriy Nosov. Both sides expressed interest in developing cooperation in the following areas: expert support of model lawmaking, organization of research and practice conferences, interaction of library experts with the IPA CIS Permanent Commissions on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport and on Science and Education. On 7 February 2023 a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Secretariat of the IPA CIS Council and Yeltsin Presidential Library, which implies the transfer of digital copies of model laws and other documents adopted by the IPA CIS to the library fund. In 2022, a protocol of intent was signed to establish the Association of Presidential Libraries.
