Nurlanbek Azygaliev Noted Effective MPs Dialogue on IPA CIS Platform

On 29 March, the XV Country Conference of Russian Compatriots “Russian Compatriots in Kyrgyzstan: for Fatherland and Family” was held in Bishkek.

During the event the issues of the improvement of work to protect the rights and legitimate interests of the Russian diaspora, the stance of the Russian language in the country, education in Russian universities, the development of the youth movement, the preservation and  the promotion of the Russian historical heritage abroad were discussed.

Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Azygaliev made a welcoming speech.

He said Russian citizens in Kyrgyzstan played an important role in the development of economic relations between the countries because they invested their experience and knowledge in various sectors such as trade, tourism and education. They contributed to strengthening friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, creating a platform for cultural and educational exchange, as well as cooperation in science and technology.
