Vladimir Putin Awarded Title of Hero of Labor of Russian Federation to Valentina Matvienko

President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin conferred the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation to Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko for her special labor merits to the state and people.

Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova congratulated Valentina Matvienko on conferment of the high title and expressed confidence that her experience, high professionalism and great love to the Fatherland would continue to serve for the benefit of the Russian Federation, contribute to the comprehensive development of interparliamentary and interstate Russian-Belarusian relations.
