War memorial opened in Armenia

The opening ceremony took place on 7 November in the town of Gyumri in Armenia. Sergey Shoigu, Minister, EMERCOM of Russia, sent his welcoming message.
2015 has been declared the Year of the Veterans of the Great Patriotic War. On 17 April 2014, the IPA CIS Council adopted the Plan of Action towards the 70th anniversary of the Victory.
