Meeting of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Public Health

On 7 December 2023, a meeting of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Public Health will be held in St. Petersburg, in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters .

Chair of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Public Health, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Yuriy Shcherbuk will open the meeting. The main topic of the meeting will be the development of public-private partnership in the sphere of healthcarein the CIS countries.

The development of public-private partnerships in healthcare is a fundamental basis for the formation and development of national evidence-based medicine in the CIS countries.

In addition, the participants of the meeting will be informed on the following agenda points:

• Results of the XXXVI meeting of the CIS Advisory Board on Cooperation in the Field of Public Health;
• Proposed draft Model Law on Health Protection of Industrial Workers in the CIS Member Nations;
• Practical realization of initiatives of the CIS Intergovernmental Program of Innovative Cooperation until 2030 in the field of healthcare;
• Work of the Pacific International Medical Cluster and other issues.

The meeting is expected to be attended by parliamentarians, representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the CIS countries, the WHO Regional Office for Europe, other international organizations and academia.
