IPA CIS Budget Oversight Commission Held Meeting in Tavricheskiy Palace

The meeting of of the IPA CIS Budget Oversight Commission took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace, which was attended by members of the national parliaments and the staff members of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat.

Deputy Chair of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Sydykov was unanimously elected as a Chair of the Commission.

Participants of the meeting discussed the issues of current financing of the activities of the IPA CIS, formation and implementation of the Assembly's budget.

MPs and representatives of the Secretariat reviewed drafts local normative acts, as well as decisions of the IPA CIS Council concerning financial aspects of the IPA CIS activities.

At the meeting the results of the Commission’s work in 2023 were discussed and the updated work plan of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly for 2024 was considered.
