Chairperson of IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko Attended Military Parade Dedicated to 75th Anniversary of Victory

On 24 June 2020, the military parade dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 and the Victory Parade of 24 June 1945 took place in Moscow.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at the parade, which was also attended by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokaev, President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as other heads of state and veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
The parade was also attended by Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.
2020 is declared the Year of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the CIS.
