Chairperson of IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko Participates in SPIEF

The plenary session of the 26th St Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place in St. Petersburg. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin devoted his speech to key areas of development of the Russian economy and touched upon issues of international cooperation.
During SPIEF Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko awarded the winners of the Second All-Russian competition of the best social projects “Women for a Healthy Society”. The ceremony was held at the stand of the Eurasian Women’s Forum.
The strategic session “Intellectual Property as the Foundation of Innovation-Driven Economic Growth” took place as a part of SPIEF, where Chair of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science, Education and Culture, Chair of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education Lilia Gumerova made a speech.
MPs of the Russian parliament, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy and his deputies – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Igor Musalimov and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova – take part in the events of the 26th St Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is being held these days in St. Petersburg.
