Alexey Sergeev spoke at the International Conference Transport and Borders

IPA CIS Council SG Alexey Sergeev made a keynote speech at the international conference Transport and Borders, which, for the first time, took place in St. Petersburg.
Alexey Sergeev spoke of model laws prepared by the IPA CIS in the field of general transportation, air and rail transport, transport security, automobile recycling, and transport tariffs. He also highlighted the current activities of IPA CIS in this sphere, in particular through IPA CIS PC on Legal Issues, which has recently started drafting the model law “On contrail forwarding”.
IPA CIS Council SG also noted the importance of IPA CIS efforts in cross-border cooperation, including the adoption of model Customs Code of the CIS Member Nations (2008).

IPA CIS legally supports cross-border cooperation, which vitally needs reliable and up-to-date transport technologies and communications.
