Astana Hosts Conference Dedicated to 30th Anniversary of Central Election Commission of Republic of Kazakhstan

On 7-8 December 2023, Astana hosts the international research to practice conference “Constitutional Reform and Electoral System”, dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Secretary General of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Dmitriy Kobitskiy addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, and Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD), Doctor of Law, Professor Ivan Mushket made a report on “The Convention on Standards for Democratic Elections and its Impact on the Improvement of the Electoral System of the State”.
