Commonwealth Celebrates 1 May

1^st May is celebrated in most of the IPA CIS Member Nations. In some of them it is even officially declared a holiday, but has different names.

In the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic 1^st May is Labor Day. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, this day is celebrated as the Day of the Unity of the People of Kazakhstan, in the Republic of Moldova – the Day of International Solidarity of Workers. In the Russian Federation, 1^st May is the Holiday of Spring and Labor. In the Republic of Tajikistan, the International Day of Solidarity of Workers.
