Experts Considered Recommendations of CIS Statistical Services for 2023 Population Census

On 22 May, the international forum “Population Census: Challenges and Opportunities” kicked off in Almaty.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy sent a greeting to the forum participants.

The session “Using Population Census Data: Developing Effective Policies and Forecasts of Socio-Economic Development of Countries” took place as a part of the forum. Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Social Policy and Human Rights, Executive Secretary of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Public Health Evgenia Vladimirova participated in the session.

Member of the IPA CIS Expert Advisory Board on Public Health, Director of the Eurasian Cooperation on Clinical Guidelines and Development of National Health Sergey Savashinsky, Chair of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS Konstantin Laykam, representatives of the CIS statistical services, international organizations, government, expert community, pension funds, civil society and business took part in the forum.

The event was organized by the Bureau of National statistics of the Agency for Strategic planning and reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the UNFPA EECA Regional Office.
