Federation Council TV Channel Vmeste-RF Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko congratulated the staff of TV channel “Vmeste-RF” on the 10^th anniversary. The Speaker said she was particularly pleased to congratulate the journalists on the eve of the Day of Russian Parliamentarianism, which is on 27^th April.

Valentina Matvienko noted the important role of the journalists in explanation of the laws adopted by the state. According to her words, many relevant and correct legislative initiatives can be adopted, but if the citizens do not understand their essence and usefulness then the work of lawmakers is half done.

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy also sent his congratulations on the occasion of the 10^th anniversary of the IPA CIS Council TV channel “Vmeste-RF”.

The Secretary General noted that during all these years the channel has been actively developing and filling the airwaves with interesting programs and projects, bringing together creative and professional journalists, designers, cameramen and producers.

This year “Parlamentskaya Gazeta”, a publication of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, also celebrates the 25^th anniversary.
