Media Contest Launched Under Auspices of CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs

A media contest under the auspices of the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs is launched in the CIS countries. It is held annually by the Office for the Coordination of the Fight Against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime on the Territory of CIS countries in accordance with the Decision of the CIS Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the countries.
The contest is organized in order to expand the information and socio-cultural space of international police cooperation, to intensify cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of the CIS countries with state and public structures and others.
The main objectives of the contest are to promote by means of media art among the personnel of the internal affairs bodies conscientious and responsible fulfillment of their official duties, to develop and raise the level of artistic skills of the employees of the internal affairs bodies.
The first stage of the contest will be held from 10 January to 30 June. Citizens of the Commonwealth countries can take part in the contest without any restrictions on age and professional affiliation.

The contest is designed to promote cultural and aesthetic, spiritual and moral education of young people and the formation of a positive image of internal affairs (police) officers of the CIS countries.
