Outer space for the Commonwealth. The Tavricheskiy Palace to host discussions on common efforts beyond Planet Earth

On 2-3 October, the Tavricheskiy Palace will host an advisory expert meeting. A dedicated team of experts will consider a draft CIS Convention on Cooperation in the Peaceful Exploration and Uses of Outer Space.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of national space agencies, academies of sciences, leading space research and design centers from the CIS.
On 23 November 2012, the 38th Plenary Session of the IPA CIS highlighted the relevance of the theme Developing Cooperation among CIS Member Nations in Common Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
