International Youth Translation Competition Launched

The International Youth Translation Competition, dedicated to the Year of the Russian Language as a Language of Interethnic Communication in the CIS, will start on 11 September 2023 under the auspices of the IPA CIS. The initiator of the competition was the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS (YIPA CIS).
The International Youth Translation Competition is an opportunity for creative youth of the Commonwealth aged 14 to 35 years to show their literary skills and culture of using the Russian language.
The objectives of the competition are:
- attracting the attention of young people to the study of the Russian language, as well as the official languages and culture of the Commonwealth countries;
- creation of additional opportunities for the development and realization of educational and creative needs of the youth of the CIS Member Nations related to the in-depth study of the Russian language;
- support for talented youth.
To take part in the competition, you need to send to konkurs@iacis.ru an application form filled in according to the form in the annex, consent to the processing of personal data, as well as your work. Detailed conditions of participation are specified in the Competition Regulations.
Acceptance of works will last until 10 November 2023. The results of the competition will be announced at the meeting of the YIPA CIS.
