IPA CIS Representatives Took Part in Discussion on National Models of Political Process

The round table “National Models of Political Process as a base of Multipolar World: Constitutional and Political Science Aspects” was held in Kutafin Moscow State Law University. The event took place as a part of XI Moscow International Legal Forum.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Doctor of Law, Professor Abdukhalil Gafurzoda participated in the round table. His presentation was devoted to role and meaning of the CIS and SCO in strengthening the multipolar world.

Deputy Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat – Director of the International Institute for Monitoring the Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD), Doctor of Law, Professor Ivan Mushket made a presentation “Application of Digital Technologies in the CIS Nations’ Political Process: Experience of Electoral Campaigns”.

He talked about technologies which are already adopted in elections and referendums in CIS Nations. He stressed that digital technologies application needs a legal-regulatory framework takes into account the challenges facing the state and society, as well as the interests and rights of citizens.
