Role of Russian Language in CIS to be Discussed at Forum of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals in Bishkek

On 11-15 September, Bishkek will host the XVI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals of the CIS Member Nations, which will focus onthe role of the Russian language as a means of intercultural communication in the Commonwealth.

The forum is organized by the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member Nations, which has started forming a program of events and outlining the topics of the plenary session, sections and discussion venues.

Within the framework of the forum, the awards “Stars of the Commonwealth” and “Commonwealth of Debuts” will be presented. There will be a presentation of Samarkand, the cultural capital of the CIS-2024. The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the CIS countries will also perform at the forum.

The forum will be attended by delegations from the Commonwealth countries, which will include representatives of culture, education, specialists of working with youth and journalists.
