Young Scientists from Commonwealth Countries Participate in Science and Creativity Week Forum

The “Science and Creativity Week” Forum was opened in the cinema-concert hall of the St. Petersburg University of Film and Television. The forum is an inter-university scientific and practical festival of students, graduate students and young scientists.

The Forum’s geography coverage is vast and represented by participants from some CIS countries such as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as from India, China, Lebanon, South Korea, Mongolia and Indonesia.

The event was opened by Acting Rector of the St. Petersburg State University of Film and Television Alexander Babayan, who noted the importance of such events for the academic and student communities and stressed the special international status of the forum.

Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on CultureInformationTourism and Sport Igor Minin welcomed the participants and guests of the forum.

The program of 14 sections of the forum includes more than 300 scientific reports. Two international academic conferences are planned: “Trends in the Development of World Cinematography: Philosophy, Stages and Lessons, Research Methodology” and “Spiritual Foundations of Culture and the Art Process”.
