International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” to be Held in St. Petersburg in November

On 9-10 November 2023, the Tavricheskiy Palace, the IPA CIS headquarters, will host the second International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”.

It is being organized by the IPA CIS with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Women’s Forum.

Representatives of the light and fashion industry, relevant ministries and departments, educational institutions of the CIS countries will take part in the event.

The program of the Forum will include 20 roundtables, the exposition is planned to present manufacturing companies of the Commonwealth countries. There will be two fashion shows - a show of Russian designers and a fashion show of designers from the CIS countries.

The plenary session and roundtables of the Forum will be devoted to the key tracks of the industry such as economy, production, design, personnel, cultural traditions.

The first International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” was held on 19 October 2022. It was attended by about 700 people - representatives of light industry and fashion industry, relevant ministries and business associations, educational institutions and creative sector from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The fashion show presented collections of famous designers from the Commonwealth countries.

The Forum had practical results: a number of agreements were signed at the event, designers from the Commonwealth countries are now more widely represented in the trade platforms of St. Petersburg.
