Meeting of the Advisory Board of Prosecutors General of the CIS Member Nations closed in Bishkek

Advisory Board of Prosecutors General (ABPG) of the Member Nations of the CIS closed its meeting in Bishkek. The participants heard reports on the progress of cooperation programs among the Commonwealth countries, including the program on joint efforts to combat crime in 2011-2013, as well as on countering terrorism, drug and human trafficking.

At the outcome of the meeting, the analysts signed a package of documents related to a further consolidation of efforts to promote rule of law and protection of rights and aspirations of people in the CIS.

The agenda of the meeting included 16 items covering follow-up on these efforts. The meeting was attended by heads of delegations of Prosecutors General offices of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, and Ukraine.

The IPA CIS was represented by Executive Secretary of the Joint Commission on the Harmonization of National Legislation in Combating Terrorism, Crime and Illegal Drug Trafficking in the CIS Vladimir Bondourovskiy.
