Show of Collections by Designers from CIS countries Concluded Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion”

The International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” kicked off in the IPA CIS headquarters - the Tavricheskiy Palace. The event brought together more than 1000 representatives of light industry and creative industry, relevant ministries and agencies, educational institutions of the Commonwealth countries.
The main topics this year were the prospects for the development of light industry in the CIS region in the age of global changes, opportunities for international cooperation, issues of raw materials supply, innovative cooperation and others.
It was noted that the great potential of the industry in the CIS region has not yet been fully realized. It is necessary to develop economic friendship and cooperation, to develop common programs in order to create a balance of raw materials, to help local brands and talented fashion designers.
Two fashion shows were the jewel of the forum.
The Forum was included in the national plan to implement the activities of the Interstate Program “Cultural Capitals of the Commonwealth” in 2023.
