Vladimir Putin is Elected President of Russian Federation

The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation approved the results of the presidential elections. Vladimir Putin was elected on the post of the head of state. 87,28% of voters voted for him, said Chair of the Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova on a special meeting of the commission.
The remaining votes were distributed: Nikolay Kharitonov got 4.31%, Vladislav Davankov – 3.85%, Leonid Slutskiy – 3.20%.
The final turnout in the presidential election amounted to 77.49% with data of the remote electronic voting.
