Alexey Sergeev: "The Mission will make a statement after the closing of polling stations"

Abdyzhapar Bekmatov, Chief of the Mission, and Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Secretary General, reported that the Mission was a two-stage effort of long-term and short-term monitoring. Alexey Sergeev, IPA CIS Council Secretary General: “Our mission was invited to monitor the pre-election stage and the election itself. The Mission has 30 members including parliamentarians with extensive experience in election monitoring, which attests for its credibility. During short-term monitoring, we met election organizers and leaders of contesting parties. We will make a statement when polling stations finish their work”.
