IIMDD IPA CIS Baku branch hosted a seminar for local observers

On 27-28 September 2013, political parties, NGOs, local elecoms members and around 100 civil observers came together at a seminar, as the presidential elections in Azerbaijan approach.

IIMDD IPA CIS Baku branch director Elman Imamaliyev spoke of the results of their research work on the dynamics of election law evolution in Azerbaijan and presented related suggestions of his office in terms of suffrage rights protection.

The participants discussed functioning of electoral system, role of international and local observers at the elections and other related matters.
