IPA CIS observers held meetings with parliamentary parties in the Ukraine ahead of by-elections, including with the leaders of the Svododa, Batkivschina, and the CPU. The IPA CIS election observation team was deployed in Kiyev on the invitation of the Speaker of the Verhovna Rada Rybak.
