IPA CIS observers met the candidate for Azerbaijani presidency nominated by the Adalet party

IPA CIS international observers: member of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kirgiz Republic Bakhadyr Suleymanov and IIMDD IPA CIS expert Stanislav Tkachenko met with Ilyas Ismaylov, candidate for presidency of Azerbaijan and member of Adalet party.

The observers gave an account of long-term monitoring and observing the campaign of the candidate. Ilyas Ismailov noted that, together with his party, his candidature enjoys support of Azerbaijan Islamic Party and environmental movements. He expressed satisfaction in the organization of the elections and debates of candidates on TV and radio.

IPA CIS international observers have monitored election across the Commonwealth since 1994.
