IPA CIS representatives will review the Single Voting Day in the Russian Federation on 13 September 2015

Vladimir Churov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, invited Secretary General of the IPA CIS Alexey Sergeev to participate in reviewing and preparation for the Single Voting Day of the Russian Federation by the example of governors of Leningrad Oblast election.

The Single Voting Day is a landmark political event in 2016 in Russia. It will result in electing senior government officials, deputies of legislative assemblies and municipal entities from more than 70 regions of the country. It is the 1st time ever the IPA CIS will join the observing the Single Voting Day in Russia.

As a reminder, IPA CIS has in its structure the International Institute of Monitoring Democracy, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage. Parliaments and Central Election Commissions of the CIS highly appreciate unbiased conclusions of the IPA CIS observers.
