Long-term election monitoring underway in Tajikistan

A team of international observers delegated by the IPA CIS is embedded in a larger CIS observation mission to monitor parliamentary elections in Tajikistan on 1 March. The Mission will be led by Chair of the CIS Execon Sergey Lebedev. The IPA CIS team will be led by the Chair, Committee on Human Rights, Ethnic Relations and the Media of the Belarus parliament and member of the Task Force for Promoting Cooperation with the Parliament of Tajikistan Andrey Naumovich.
