Yuriy Vorobiev appointed Coordinator of the IPA CIS observer team at the presidential elections in Belarus

The appointment of Yuriy Vorobiev, Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council, was effected through a decision of the IPA CIS Council Chairperson.

Yuriy Vorobiev, representative of legislative assembly of Vologodskaya oblast, supervises the hosting of the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, contributes to the work of the Parliamentary Conference of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the interparliamentary commission of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Council of the Republic of Belarus on international cooperation.

The IPA CIS observer team will monitor the presidential elections in Belarus on 11 October 2015.
