International Roundtable on Library Cooperation in CIS Countries Held in St. Petersburg

On 26 September, the international research and practice roundtable on “National Library – Research and Methodological Centre of Libraries of the Country” took place. The event was organized by the Russian National Library together with the Library Assembly of Eurasia.
The roundtable was attended by representatives of national libraries of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan. Representatives of national libraries shared their experience in organizing and supporting scientific research.
Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitriy Kobitskiy sent greetings to the participants. He emphasized the close cooperation of the IPA CIS with the Library Assembly of Eurasia.
Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Igor Minin took part in the roundtable.
